Does it add VHS effects like tracking lines?

No. The portraits have the grain and faded colour of ’80s film, without fake tape noise, scan lines or a date stamp. Add a VHS filter afterwards if you want that look too.

Do I need to write a prompt?

No. Upload one selfie: the scenes and the style are set for you.

How long does it take?

The preview usually takes a few minutes. After payment the HD files are ready a few minutes later, on a private result link that is also emailed to you.

Do I pay every month?

No subscription: you pay once per pack, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. The packs: $4.99 for the Camp pack (4 HD portraits: the four scenes of your free preview) or $9.99 for the Full season pack (12 HD portraits, all twelve scenes).

Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only of an adult who agreed to it. Use only a photo of yourself, or of another adult who agreed to it, with one person in the picture: Slasher Camp AI is for adults (18 or older) only. No children, no celebrities, no one without their consent.

What if I do not like the result?

A failed generation is retried automatically. If part of your order still fails, that part is refunded automatically and the rest is still delivered. Not happy with your portraits? Write to us within 7 days: a full refund if you have not downloaded the HD files, otherwise case by case.

Retro VHS horror generator for your selfie

This generator puts your face into the kind of ’80s slasher movie people rented on VHS: a summer camp in the autumn woods, campfires, fog on the lake, and a masked figure lurking far in the background. Upload one selfie, see a free watermarked preview, and pay once only if you want the HD files.

The VHS era, the film look

The portraits copy how those films were shot, on 35mm colour film: fine, even grain, warm faded colour and soft blacks. The generator does not add fake tape effects such as tracking lines, scan lines or a date stamp. If you want them, put a VHS filter on the finished file in your editing app.

What the generator makes

12 scenes in three sets: cabin porch, final girl, campfire, foggy dock, instant photo, canoe, bunk bed, lifeguard chair, rainy doorway, forest trail, archery range and camp bus. The free preview shows the camp set; the Camp pack gives you those scenes in HD, and the Full season pack adds the yearbook and night sets.

No prompt to write

The prompt is fixed on our side and tested for likeness: the same retro look in every scene, your face kept across a grid of four. You only upload the photo. Want to try it yourself first? Our free prompts work in any image app that accepts a photo.
